"The power of moving imagery is staggering. It can free you from the ordinary, guide you through the spectacular and open your heart to new frontiers."

I’m Justan Floyd, Director of Photography and Cinematographer with 30 years of experience across narrative film, commercial, documentary, television, and cultural storytelling. My work begins with the story—building the right visual approach through lighting, composition, lenses, movement, and crew, whether I’m shooting a feature film, a national campaign, or working with a small documentary team.
The scale changes. The responsibility to the story doesn’t.

Nine Black Cats — a neo-noir conspiracy thriller written and directed by Chris Zuhdi. Cinematography by Justan Floyd. In theaters beginning August 21, 2026.

Second Chances — a character-driven feature from writer/director Rick Walker. As cinematographer, I approached the film with an intimate, naturalistic visual style built around performance, relationships, and the Oklahoma locations.
