Jayson and Justan are the co-founders of the deadcenter film festival. In 2001, Justan set out to take his next career move in the Film Industry only to find that there was still a void in 2001. He couldn't find advancement without stepping on his own mentors. A whisper in the wind took flight that year and over the last 20 years matured into a commanding windsong for the arts culture in Oklahoma City. The festival that began with hand pressed t-shirts by Mother Floyd and labors of love created a foundation and a voice that has invited a global film industry into our fair state. DeadCenter is living proof that an Okie can do anything they set their hearts to.
